Clos des Lunes Lune d’Argent 2024 is a refined dry white Bordeaux from the rolling hills of Sauternes, a region better known for its sweet wines. This cuvée is crafted by Olivier Bernard, owner of the renowned Domaine de Chevalier in Pessac-Léognan, and produced with the same care, precision, and philosophy as his grands vins.
Made from 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, it expresses the pure elegance and freshness of its exceptional terroir. In the glass, it reveals a pale golden hue with subtle green reflections. The bouquet opens with notes of white peach, citrus, acacia blossom, and a touch of exotic fruit such as mango and pineapple. On the palate, it is both lively and rounded, offering a perfect balance of ripe fruit, bright acidity, and mineral finesse. The finish is smooth, refined, and persistent.
Clos des Lunes Lune d’Argent is a stylish wine that shines both in its youth and after a few years of cellaring. Perfect as an elegant aperitif or paired with seafood, sushi, light fish dishes, or soft cheeses. Serve chilled at 10–12 °C and enjoy the modern finesse of a house that shares the same passion as Domaine de Chevalier.
