Don Papa Baroko is distilled in the Philippines using a molasses variety known as “black gold”, sourced from one of the country’s local sugarcane producers. After distillation, the rum undergoes several years of aging in American oak barrels. The Master Distiller then carefully selects and blends the finest casks to create Don Papa Baroko.
Vanilla lies at the heart of this rum’s character, abundantly present in both aroma and flavor. These rich vanilla notes are complemented by lively hints of juicy fruit, sweet confections, and a subtle touch of oak. Enjoy Don Papa Baroko neat, over ice, or as the base of your favorite rum cocktail.
