In the glass, the wine reveals a deep ruby-red colour. The nose is expressive and pure, offering aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and ripe cherry, complemented by notes of cedar wood, graphite, subtle spice, and refined oak. On the palate, it is smooth and harmonious, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and an elegant, juicy finish.
The 2022 vintage delivers ripe fruit and concentration, beautifully balanced by freshness and elegance. More approachable than the Grand Vin, Le Petit Haut Lafitte still clearly reflects the character of Pessac-Léognan.
