The Château Talbot Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé 2018 – Special Edition Double Magnum 3L CB1 is a rare collector’s release created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Désiré Cordier’s takeover of Château Talbot. This special bottling combines heritage, prestige, and the quality of an outstanding Saint-Julien vintage.
Classified as a 4th Growth Grand Cru Classé, Château Talbot is renowned for its classic style, balancing elegance, structure, and charm. The 2018 vintage adds richness and depth while preserving freshness and balance.
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby colour. The nose is refined and complex, revealing aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and ripe cherry, enhanced by cedar wood, graphite, tobacco, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is full and harmonious, with ripe tannins, fine freshness, and a long, elegant finish.
The Double Magnum (3L) format allows slower ageing and greater aromatic evolution, making it ideal for long-term cellaring or special celebrations.
Important: the designation CB1 means the wine is delivered in an original closed wooden case (Original Wooden Case) — ideal for collectors, ageing, or luxury gifting.
