This special cuvée pays tribute to Hieronymus Bosch, one of the most fascinating Flemish Masters. Just as his paintings are renowned for their layers, intricate details and mysterious character, this wine reveals different facets as it gradually opens in the glass.
Deep ruby-red in colour, the wine offers an intense bouquet of blackberry, blackcurrant and ripe dark cherry, intertwined with black pepper, spices and subtle smoky notes. Refined oak nuances add hints of cocoa and spice.
On the palate, it is powerful and concentrated yet remarkably refined. Ripe dark fruit is supported by elegant tannins, attractive spice and balancing freshness. Its firm but harmonious structure leads to a long and complex finish, with lingering notes of fruit, pepper and fine oak spices.
A true limited edition: only 2,025 bottles of this special Hieronymus Bosch 2020 were produced. Each bottle is also individually numbered on the back label, adding to its appeal for collectors and lovers of distinctive wines.
