Pasqua MAI DIRE MAI Valpolicella DOC Superiore 2015 is a prestigious, characterful red wine from Veneto, produced from grapes grown in the Montevegro vineyard in the hills east of Verona. Situated at approximately 350 metres above sea level, the vineyard features soils of basaltic and limestone origin, contributing minerality, structure and elegance to the wine.
The grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand. Following gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for 18 months in 500-litre French oak casks and 225-litre barriques, mainly using new and second-use oak.
Intense, complex and refined, MAI DIRE MAI 2015 gradually reveals its impressive personality. The bouquet offers aromas of tobacco, cedar wood and autumn leaves complemented by elegant balsamic nuances. On the palate, the wine is warm and intense, with flavours of Morello cherry, clove and coffee. Fine, rounded tannins are balanced by vibrant acidity, leading to a long, persistent and beautifully spiced finish.
