With Anayón Club Barrica Reserva Especial 2021, Wijnhuis Douchy proudly presents an exceptionally exclusive wine and an important milestone in its history. To celebrate the sixth edition of Bredene Wine Festival in 2026, an entire wine barrel was personally selected and bottled exclusively for Wijnhuis Douchy for the very first time.
Produced by the prestigious Bodegas Grandes Vinos in Spain's renowned D.O. Cariñena region, this outstanding red wine represents Wijnhuis Douchy's first personalised single-barrel release, proudly named First Edition.

This remarkable Reserva is a masterful blend of three distinctive grape varieties: Garnacha, Syrah and Cariñena. Garnacha contributes generous ripe fruit, Cariñena brings vibrant acidity and structure, while Syrah adds depth, power and refined elegance.
Following an extended maturation of 21 months in oak barrels, the wine develops impressive aromatic complexity and a beautifully harmonious character.
In the glass, this exceptional Reserva displays a deep, intense red colour. The nose reveals rich aromas of ripe black fruits, beautifully complemented by elegant notes of liquorice, vanilla, toasted oak and sweet spices.
On the palate, the wine is powerful, concentrated and full-bodied, offering excellent structure, ripe tannins and a refined balance between fruit intensity, freshness and oak influence. The remarkably long, elegant finish highlights the exceptional quality of this exclusive cuvée.
Food pairing: A wonderful companion to grilled rib-eye steak, côte de boeuf, roasted lamb, venison, slow-cooked meat dishes and mature cheeses. Best served between 16 and 18°C. Decanting briefly before serving can further enhance its aromatic expression.

After five successful editions of Bredene Wine Festival, Wijnhuis Douchy introduces something truly special for the sixth edition in 2026: its very first personalised wine barrel selection.
The entire barrel was bottled exclusively for Wijnhuis Douchy, featuring a personalised label with the official Bredene Wine Festival 2026 emblem. Every bottle is individually numbered from 001 to 252, making it a unique keepsake celebrating this special milestone.
The entire production consists of only 42 beautiful wooden presentation cases, each containing six bottles.
To give as many wine enthusiasts as possible the opportunity to enjoy this remarkable release, purchases are strictly limited to six bottles or one wooden case per customer.
