An exceptional, powerful and elegant red wine from the Cariñena wine region in Aragón, Spain. This exclusive creation from the renowned Grandes Vinos winery is crafted from 100% Juan Ibáñez, a rare traditional grape variety also known as Moristel. The grapes come from 53-year-old vines growing on a unique vineyard plot of just 0.78 hectares, situated at an altitude of 598 metres. Artisanal winemaking followed by 13 months of ageing in French oak barrels gives this wine remarkable depth and refined complexity.
In the glass, it displays an intense cherry-red colour. On the nose, it reveals enticing aromas of ripe red cherries, wild berries and delicately preserved fruit, complemented by subtle floral notes and fine Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is powerful, juicy and elegant, with beautiful freshness, delicate creamy oak nuances and a harmonious balance between fruit and structure. The finish is long, vibrant and wonderfully expressive.
A gastronomic red wine that pairs beautifully with slow-cooked game, roast poultry, lamb dishes, cured ham and rich pasta dishes. With a very limited production of just 1,045 bottles, this exceptional cuvée is also an excellent choice for festive dinners or as an exclusive gift.
A rare and refined Spanish red wine that beautifully showcases the authentic Juan Ibáñez grape, traditional winemaking and the unique terroir of Cariñena!
