This Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru from Domaine Luquet is an elegant white Burgundy crafted from 100% Chardonnay. The Premier Cru vineyard "Les Vignes Blanches" is situated on limestone-rich clay slopes in the Mâconnais, producing a wine with remarkable finesse, vibrant minerality, and an excellent balance between richness and freshness.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright golden yellow with pale green reflections.
Nose: Elegant aromas of white flowers, ripe peach, apricot, citrus and pear, complemented by subtle hints of hazelnut, toasted almond and a delicate touch of vanilla from oak ageing.
Palate: Rich and creamy with excellent freshness and lively acidity. Flavours of ripe stone fruit and citrus are enhanced by pronounced minerality. The finish is long, refined and delicately spicy.
